EPCC is invited to participate in famous Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival in Germany with four concerts.
In 5 and 6 August the concerts are given in Schleswig and Lüneburg churches with music by Arvo Pärt, Alfred Schnittke, Cyrillus Kreek, Rudolf Tobias, Johannes Brahms, Max Reger and Felix Mendelssohn under Daniel Reuss.
In 9 August the EPCC performs Arvo Pärt’s „Kanon pokajanen“ in St. Michaelis Church in Hamburg and in 10 August the concert is given together with the Tallinn Chamber Orchestra in St Jacob Church in Hamburg, the programme includes Pärt’s “Fratres“, “Cantus in Memory of Benjamin Britten ”, “Adam’s Lament”, “Salve Regina” and “Te Deum”, the conductor is Tõnu Kaljuste.
The motto of the 28th Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival (from 6th of July until 25th of August) is »Bewegend baltisch« and it is dedicated to the Baltic states Estonia, Lativa and Lithuania.
