On September 23, EPCC, Tallinn Chamber Orchestra and the conductor Tõnu Kaljuste presented their new CD Gesualdo released by ECM in the House of Black Heads in Tallinn. The music on the CD includes Moro lasso and O crux benedicta (version for string orchestra) by Carlo Gesualdo da Venosa, Carlo by Brett Dean, L’ombra della croce for string orchestra and Psalmody for the choir and string orchestra by Erkki-Sven Tüür.
The presentation was special as the new album could be listened through Estelon Extreme high-end loudspeakers, which have won CES Best of Innovation. The comments were given by Tõnu Kaljuste, Erkki-Sven Tüür and Estelon company founder and the lead engineer, Alfred Vassilkov.
