On June 28, 2024, starting at 5 p.m., we will celebrate Eduard Tubin's 119th birthday, the museum's 13th birthday, and the 100th anniversary of the composer's conducting debut.
On June 29, 1924, it will be exactly 100 years since composer Eduard Tubin’s conducting debut. The debut took place at the Alatskivi folk festival at the concert with Alatskivi, Savastvere and Koosa mixed choirs. In the same month, the 119th year of Tubina’s birth will pass, and the personal museum located on the second floor of Alatskivi Castle will be 13 years old. Inspired by these important events, the opening of a photo exhibition of Tubina’s youth and a concert will be held.
